Inside a renovated Queenslander at 37 Balfour Street, part of Spicers Balfour Brisbane, this kitchen and bar runs breakfast from 7am on weekdays and longer brunches at the weekend, coffee and brunch cocktails taken under a plane tree. From 5pm Monday to Saturday it turns to wine, charcuterie, artisan cheeses and share plates. Seating spreads across the verandah, a fairy-lit courtyard and a rooftop bar, with heritage doors and purple velvet chairs indoors.
