The Story
A family oyster farm on the Manning between Coopernook and Harrington, selling its Sydney Rock oysters direct, shucked daily from leases on the Manning River and Wallis Lake, with no middlemen. Alongside the retail oysters is a casual shed takeaway serving fish and chips, calamari, seafood boxes and platters, with a waterfront deck for eating on site. The family has farmed and served oysters here for decades and supplies wholesale to Sydney and Queensland as well as over the counter. Signposted a few minutes off the Pacific Highway, it works as a genuine farm-gate stop rather than a polished tourist operation. Open daily, with the kitchen closing ahead of trading.
