Occupying a shopfront on Rouse Street, Tenterfield's main artery, this small bar, cafe and wine room draws its ballast from the Granite Belt and New England ranges that surround the town. The drinks list, local and imported bottles chosen with unusual care, earned the venue the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide's Drinks List of the Year in 2024, a rare nod for a town this size. The kitchen keeps pace with a short, seasonal menu built around regional growers, plates designed to sit alongside a glass rather than dominate it. Mornings lean towards coffee; Thursday to Saturday it runs late into the evening, the closest thing the highland town has to a proper wine bar. The room is unshowy and the approach restrained, letting the producers of the surrounding tablelands do the talking.
