The Story
Housed in a former Belgian beer hall in Kingston, this Canberra dining room opened in 2016 and now trades under the Home hospitality team. The kitchen works an elevated fine-casual menu — a signature aged-fillet pepper steak with brandy jus among the dishes that have stuck — and holds two hats in the 2025 Australian Good Food Guide. Dinner runs Tuesday to Saturday from early evening. The room keeps the hall's generous proportions, with a bar and a menu that sits between neighbourhood restaurant and something more ambitious.
