The Story
Gelateria on the Docks set out to make indulgence something everyone can share: its ice cream is 100% halal-certified, made in Australia, and poured across 32 flavours that range from rich Belgian chocolate to a bright mango sorbet. Beyond the scoop, the menu widens to frozen yoghurt, build-your-own açaí, thick milkshakes and crunchy waffle cones, with tubs in 500ml and one-litre sizes for taking the party home. It runs two Melbourne outposts — the original at Docklands, by the water, and a second out at Tarneit — and wears its inclusivity plainly, framing halal certification not as a niche but as a welcome.
