The Story
A family-run hotel in Southern Cross, gateway to the Goldfields, in a building first raised in 1888 during the gold rush and once a Cobb & Co coach departure point. The on-site brewery pours seven artisanal beers and ciders on tap, with growlers to take away. In-house chefs cook rustic Australian fare, including daily oven pizzas, and 15 renovated rooms are available upstairs.
