The Story
An Art Deco pub in the heart of Atherton, up on the Tablelands behind Cairns. Rebuilt in brick in 1938 to a Hall & Taylor design, 'The BV' has stayed in the Nasser family for three generations and served as army headquarters during the Second World War. A bar, bistro and cafe put on counter lunches and dinners daily, with a bottle shop and accommodation upstairs. On Main Street.
