The Story
A farmstead cheesemaker at Elizabeth Town in northern Tasmania, where the Dairy Door visitor centre opens the farm to the public. Master cheesemakers hand-press, cloth-bind and age a range of cheddars, smoked and specialty cheeses, sold alongside butter, milk and cream. There's a cafe and tastings, and the shop opens daily on the Bass Highway.
